So, you are wanting to organize your home and looking for the best products to use. I put together a list of some of the best organizing containers that I could find. This post goes hand-in-hand with my 4-step guide on how to organize your home. Fair warning, this is a very link heavy post because I wanted to give you direct links to all of the best tools. This post is filled with products that I use in my own home as well as similar items that I found which may be a bit more cost effective. Now, let’s find the best home organizing tools for you!
Pantry
Pantries can become one of the most stressful parts of your home to organize. This is most likely due to the fact that it is one of the most frequently visited spots of your home. I know from first hand experience that having a ton of boxes is nice for locating a snack or dry goods but nothing is worse than finding what you are looking for and discovering the box is empty.
Keeping your pantry organized and clean can help you know where everything is and help you realize when you are running low on something. My personal favorite storage containers are the OXO clear seal shut containers. These are sleek looking while also keeping your food fresh. They offer various sizes for bulk snacks, cereal, baking and cooking mixes, pasta and so much more.
I know that OXO can be pretty expensive and quite the investment. While they are my favorite, it is not lost on me that they are a luxury. That’s why I also suggest the Chef’s Path airtight storage containers. These are similar to the OXO but at a much more affordable price! They have so many options for snacks, cereal, and various sizes that you can use for whatever you need them for!
Another thing that you can do is use storage baskets to organize your pantry items. This can help add some warmth and color with your clear containers. I like these woven baskets because they offer 3 different sizes and come with a chalkboard label. You can also use these angled woven baskets for things like sauce packets, granola bars, or small bags of chips.
If you don’t like the woven wicker look, these white woven rope baskets are also a great, aesthetically pleasing option! The only thing that I would worry about is getting them dirty but they come in a lot of different color options if that’s something you worry about as well.
Bathroom
Closed Storage
A bathroom is probably one of my favorite rooms to organize! I think that most of the items we keep in the bathroom are very organizable and easy to store. My recommendation is to make the items that you use regularly easily accessible and store the less frequently used products in closed storage or more compatible storage.
These amazon containers are perfect for drawer storage. You can organize your makeup, makeup brushes, pony tails, rubber bands, claw clips, cotton pads, Q-tips, tweezers, nail accessories, etc. There are 25 containers that you can organize however you want and what works best for the things you want to keep organized. I also love the rubber feet you can add to prevent them from shifting too much while you open and close the drawers!
Some bathrooms don’t have vanities with drawers so no worries! There are plenty of options for you too! These stackable drawers are perfect for storing your makeup, nail polish, and other items that you like to keep together but are lacking drawer storage.
If you are looking to store hair products that are easily accessible and easy to store, this hair tool organizer is perfect! Not only does it hold all of your hair tools and products, but it LOOKS good too! Get it in a classy solid white color or clear to not take up as much visual space on the countertop. This piece is also easy to store underneath your sink in the cabinet too.
Let’s move on to the towel, toilet paper and other, more generally used items. I love this boho basket to spruce up a bathroom space. Just because it’s a bathroom, doesn’t mean it can’t be cute too! It comes in three different colors and is sold as a set of 2. You can also set one on the countertop to hold soap and lotion. It can keep that area more unique and clean if you have the space for it.
Showers! These can be a catch all area if you don’t have a shower niche. Even then, sometimes we have so many products that we use that we run out of rooms. I have found that shower caddies help significantly with storage and organization. I have these shower shelves in my shower and love the easy installation and how well they have held up against our hard water here in Arizona. If you want a more modern and sleek look, you can try this 2 pack organizing shelves in either a black or white finish.
Closed Bathroom Storage
If you are wanting to store things such as medicine, cleaning products or other bathroom items that you don’t want on display, these plastic storage bins are perfect! They have a concave lid design to keep the sleek appearance and handles for easy transportation if you need it! You can also try these plastic storage bins with bamboo lids for easy, stackable storage! These are slightly smaller but still organized and very cute!
These clear stackable bins are smaller and perfect for the smaller bathrooms found in apartments or smaller homes. They don’t hold as much but they can be easily stored so might be the better option if you are running low on storage space.
This seagrass storage basket is best for shelf storage or storage areas that you can see. It is perfect for storing things that you want to keep hidden while also keeping the aesthetic of your space. Or you can try these round, natural cotton rope baskets for additional storage and adding aesthetically pleasing storage bins!
Desk
I think desk storage can be a little personal because everyone likes their work space a specific way. You have to store pens, general office supplies, files and papers and computer gadgets. These are some of my favorite desk organization tools!
I’ll start with the drawers. I have tons of little office supplies that I like to keep on hand but don’t necessarily want them out on my desk so I keep them in my drawers. I can’t say enough about these drawer organizers. I love the variety of sizes so you can customize the organization the best way that it serves you. If you want something more unique, there is also a rose gold option. However, it only comes with three sizes and may not be the easiest to organize.
I use these to hold all of my office supplies instead of having boxes everywhere. I also love having cute and unique office supplies. It makes the admin work more enjoyable when you have stylish supplies. I love using things like these gold paper clips and binder clips or my trendy stapler and black staples. I feel if you spruce up your office supplies, it brings a smidge of joy to the medial tasks of everyday work.
For my desk space, I definitely want everything to coordinate and look pretty while also looking professional. This file organizer is one of my favorites. You can store your files as well as have storage for note pads or other necessary tools you want to keep out on your desk. This is where I would store my scissors, tape dispenser and pens if I didn’t have a pen holder.
My final product that I love is this monitor memo board. I am a huge sticky note person to make quick to-do lists, take notes on phone calls or write quick reminders for myself. They can add up fairly quickly and can take up a lot of work space. These memo boards are easy to attach to your monitor without looking horrendous!
