When the weather is cold and crisp, one of my go-to cocktails is a Manhattan. It is warm, strong and easy to slowly sip on. It is filled with sophistication, class and makes you feel upscale. This is my delicious Manhattan cocktail recipe!
A Manhattan is very similar to an Old Fashioned. However, it is very different. This cocktail is created very similarly but has less sugar and more of a bitter taste. The rye whiskey offers a more spicy, less sweet taste than bourbon does. The sweet vermouth adds a rounded and rich flavor to the cocktail. The bitters blend all of the flavors together and help each flavor complement one another.
