Fall Sangria Recipe

When thinking of a delicious fall cocktail, I immediately thought of a fall sangria. Sangria is a drink that you can easily curate to your own liking! You can make a white sangria or a red sangria. Mine is a white wine based sangria. So, before your family gathers for thanksgiving, try out my fall sangria recipe below!

I love a sangria recipe! Sangria is such an easy drink to curate to your specific taste. You can make it sweeter or more bitter depending on what you prefer! This particular recipe is sweeter with subtle flavors of fall. The apple cider and maple syrup bring a very sweet base to your cocktail. Add the bourbon and white wine for the warm and sweet alcohol flavors. The fruit adds a natural sugar and fruity taste that truly makes the sangria. Top it all off with cinnamon which brings the final fall flavor to your drink.

A sangria is one of the easiest cocktails that you can make in a large batch. If you are hosting Thanksgiving dinner or a friendsgiving dinner this year, a fall sangria can be the perfect drink to serve to a large group of people. It is a sweet drink that is easy to sip on. Without further ado, this is my fall sangria recipe!

  • ½ cup Bourbon
  • 1 bottle White Wine (Sauvignon Blanc)
  • 1 ½ cups of Apple Cider
  • 2 oz Maple Syrup
  • 2 Apples

  • 4 Cinnamon Sticks
  • Apple Slices, Orange Slices and Cinnamon Sticks for garnish

Cocktail Directions

  1. Cut your apples into slices and your oranges into round slices.
  2. Get a large glass pitcher and add your sliced apples, orange slices and cinnamon sticks.
  3. Next, Add the bourbon, apple cider and maple syrup
  4. Top it off with one bottle of white wine. I prefer to use a Sauvignon Blanc because of the sweetness of this wine.
  5. Once all ingredients are in the pitcher, stir until all ingredients are mixed (30-40 seconds)
  6. Let it sit in the fridge for a few hours (about 2-3) to let all of the flavors blend together. You can also let it sit overnight to really let the flavors combine and have a more flavorful flavor.
  7. Once ready to serve, fill your cocktail glass with ice and strain your sangria into your glass
  8. Garnish with an apple slice, orange slice and cinnamon stick
  9. ENJOY!
