Did you know that many of the manufacturer’s that sell to interior designers and retail stores sell their products on Amazon? I bet you didn’t realize that you could get some of the lamps available at Pottery Barn or Target on Amazon. Amazon is truly becoming a one stop shop for everyone. Sellers get to sell their products such as designer rugs or designer furniture and you get to shop right from your home through your Amazon account. These are some of the best designer lamps on amazon!
As an interior designer, part of my job is to source new vendors by going to market. We look at all of their products and open accounts with them to get trade pricing which is a decent discount from the retail value of their products. After shopping our vendors, you quickly pick up on what many of the large retail stores source at market as well. Over the last few years, these manufacturers have opened their own storefront on Amazon to provide a few of their products for everyone to have access to.
Below are vendors that I have personally bought from and worked with as an interior designer. Their products are high quality. Their prices will be a bit higher than what many people usually want to pay for lamps, however, I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for. I believe if you want something of quality, you have to spend a little bit more than what you may be used to.
Designer Lamps on Amazon
Uttermost
Uttermost is one of my go-to sources for lamps. Whether you are searching for a table lamp or a floor lamp, they have some of the best large scale lamps. You may not know this, but uttermost sells their lamps at Target as well! I have also been known to see their products used in set designs on TV and in movies. They are a widely sourced manufacturer who produces great quality lamps for a decent price!
This brand has lighting options that fit many different styles. Uttermost offers lamps that are modern as well as rustic or contemporary. They have some that are soft in color and perfect for more upscale design styles. Their lamps have height which can really bring a great presence to a room.
Troy Lighting
Troy Lighting is one of the largest lighting manufacturers in the country. They don’t sell their products to designers directly. They produce their products and sell to vendors such as Hudson Valley Lighting which I will get to later in this post. Troy Lighting has a storefront on Amazon and provides access to a few of their products including designer lamps!
They offer a very small selection of their table lamps on Amazon but they are some of my favorite lamps that they have this season. They have some lamps that are modern, and others that are more transitional styles. One of their most popular designs is a ceramic/pottery look. Their lamps are strong and filled with a strong presence that can bring a room together.
Hudson Valley Lighting
Hudson Valley Lighting is another large lighting manufacturer in the country. They create their own lighting products as well as sell products from other vendors such as Troy Lighting. They offer a few of their most popular designer lamps on Amazon as well! These are a few of my favorites!
A few of their lamps are available on Amazon but they offer more lighting options such as pendants, wall sconces and ceiling mounted light fixtures. They have what I would say some of the nicest and highest quality light fixtures available on Amazon. These will be great options if you are wanting a designer touch to your home without the actual designer.
Creative Co-Op
Creative Co-Op is a great accessory vendor that interior designers source from! They offer decor items, furniture, lighting and so much more! They sell designer lamps on Amazon as well! While they may not be the top lighting manufacturer, they don’t normally sell to the public. So, the fact that they have an Amazon storefront where you can shop is a great opportunity!
Their lamps are unique and they have styles for a variety of style preferences. They are fun and unique designs that can truly liven up a space. They have modern lamps that can bring a fun and unique shape to a space. Some of their lamps are more of a trendy design that will fit with different design styles.
Jonathan-Y
Jonathan-Y is a brand that has grown tremendously on Amazon. They offer a lot of furniture, lighting and accessory pieces that look like designer pieces but cost a fraction of the cost. This brand offers some beautiful lamps that can truly elevate your room.
They offer an assortment of styles. Many of them are modern or glam or contemporary styles. They also have traditional and transitional styles. This is a good resource to look through if you are still trying to discover what design style you are looking to have in your home.
