Nothing screams a summer morning cocktail much like a bloody mary! A bloody mary is a drink that many people love to have as a morning cocktail to start a fun summer day out or a morning drink to recover from a previous night of drinking. Either way, this bloody mary recipe is a classic cocktail recipe!

The beautiful thing about a bloody mary is that it can be made is so many different ways. You can adjust it to be more spicy or less spicy. You can make it thicker in consistency or thinner. A bloody mary is a drink that you have to try multiple times before you can decide how you prefer it. Almost like a martini!

Bloody Mary Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 – 1 1/2 ounce Vodka (I prefer Tito’s)
  • 3/4 cup Tomato Juice
  • Prepare Horseradish
  • 1 dash of Tabasco Sauce
  • 2 dashes of Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 dashes Ground Pepper
  • 1 dash Paprika
  • 1 Parsley Sprig
  • 2 garlic stuffed Green Olives on a skewer
  • 1 Lime Wedge
  • 1 Celery Stalk

Cocktail Directions

  1. Pour your sea salt or celery salt or tajin onto a plate. Use a lime wedge to wet the rim of your glass and dip it into the salt to salt the rim.
  2. Grab a cocktail shaker and add your vodka, tomato juice, tabasco sauce, worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper and ice. Shake until all ingredients are mixed together and the drink is chilled (about 20-30 seconds).
  3. Fill your cocktail glass rimmed with salt or tajin with ice then pour your mixed drink over the ice.
  4. Garnish with a celery stalk and olives.
  5. Other garnish options: dill, cilantro, feta cheese, goat cheese, pickle slice, shrimp cocktail, or bacon.
  6. ENJOY!
