A delicious and fun cocktail, the Cosmopolitan is a great cocktail to sip on. Your vodka, the base of the cocktail, should be a smooth vodka. My favorite is Tito’s but whichever is your favorite is the brand you should use! The triple sec and cranberry juice bring the flavor and sweetness to the cocktail. The lime juice adds a refreshing pop of citrus that helps tie all of the flavors together!

Recipe
- 2 ounces vodka
- ½ cup of triple sec, Grand Marnier, or Cointreau
- ¾ ounce cranberry juice cocktail
- ¼ ounce fresh lime juice
- Orange twist

Cranberry Juice Note
There are two types of cranberry juices. You can use a sweetened juice (also known as cranberry cocktail) or an unsweetened juice. Either one is fine, it just depends on what you prefer. If you use the unsweetened and find it is a little too bitter for your liking, you can add a splash of simple syrup or agave as a sweetener.
Cocktail Directions
- Fill your cocktail shaker with ice. Add vodka, triple sec, cranberry juice and lime juice.
- Shake until your cocktail is chilled (about 30 seconds).
- Strain into a martini glass
- Garnish your drink with an orange peel.
- For added flavor, peel the orange twist over the drink so the juices fall into the glass
