Christmas Mojito

The holidays are here and I love a good Christmas cocktail! The holidays are all about coming together and spending time with family, friends and loved ones. Whether you are looking forward to the upcoming holiday season or dreading it, there are so many fun and delicious holiday cocktails you can add to your menu! This is my Christmas mojito recipe!

Just like a normal mojito, this Christmas mojito tastes like a regular mojito but looks like there is snow mixed in without being too heavy of a drink. The mint, sugar and lime juice give you your base mojito taste. The coconut rum brings the delicious fruity taste to your cocktail. The coconut milk adds more of a coconut flavor while also adding a white color and snow like texture to the cocktail.

One of the things that I dislike about holiday cocktails is that they tend to be very heavy. One of the most common ingredients used is heavy whipping cream or a cream based liqueur. The cream always makes me feel heavy or bloated. One of the things that I am striving to do is create holiday cocktails that are light in consistency but make you think of Christmas in a cup!
