Design is one of the best ways that we can express ourselves and our passions. Everyone has their own unique style that helps describe who they are without saying a word. Interior design is a way for us to express a sense of style or create a space for people to feel welcomed or experience something unique to you!
I studied interior design in college and learned so much about what makes a space unique. I have worked for a large restaurant chain and helped design their stores across the country. Most recently, I have worked for a residential designer and designed homes and interiors of houses around Austin, TX. Now I work for a residential designer in Tucson, AZ where we consult and help others around the country with their homes. From one hour consultations to full project management, I am working with clients to make their homes become exactly what they are envisioning.
This blog is a combination of many things. I write about various design styles, items and looks that I love and style guides that I come up with just for fun! I put together guides on ways to upgrade your home on a budget, how to make a smaller room feel bigger, and designer rugs available on Amazon. My goal with this blog is to help others create the home they want without breaking the bank.
I share my own home as well. My home is always a work in progress. My husband and I are in the process of slowly upgrading our furniture throughout our home. We got married young and didn’t have a lot to bring outside of the furniture we had in college. We have a mixture of things that each of us have contributed that we are slowly getting rid of to create a more curated home. Whether that is saving for the exact piece we want, finding the best deal or just building it ourselves, I take you along all of it! You can shop my home here!
