Best shopping in Tucson, Arizona

Tucson is such a unique city that has a lot to offer including shopping! While we may not have high end or name brand shopping, there are many spots for great shopping in town. They all offer different varieties of stores, shopping and dining opportunities. Below are the options for the best shopping in Tucson, Arizona.

Best shopping in Tucson!

La Encantada Shopping Center

The Foothills Shopping Center has some of the best shopping in Tucson if you are looking for your favorite, well-known stores. It is an outdoor mall that houses stores such as Pottery Barn, West Elm, Anthropologie, Lululemon, Madewell, Kate Spade, Free People and more!

This is a great shopping center if you want to shop at some of the more “upscale” and well-known stores. They also have a fun environment for kids. They have a courtyard in the middle of the shopping center where they host markets, festivals, community events and events for families. This is some of the most upscale shopping and dining in Tucson. You can also experience beautiful views while being located at the base of the Santa Catalina mountains.

This is a great option if you are looking for your more common stores that you know or just get out of the house for an afternoon. You can walk around and shop and then end the night with a fresh margarita and tacos from Blanco or a glass of wine and a delicious pasta dish from North Italia or some sushi from Ra Sushi.

Mercado San Agustin Public Market

This is one of my favorite centers for shopping in Tucson because of its originality. The Mercado San Agustin Public Market is just outside of downtown Tucson and is a small marketplace with shopping, food and drink choices! This area is a little more spread out but it has some authentic and special to Tucson stores that help you experience the uniqueness of Tucson.

You can grab some lunch at Seis Kitchen then grab a coffee at Presta Coffee or Decibel Coffee Works before you walk around the shops. Or, grab some dinner after a day of shopping at Agustin Kitchen. Some of the shops are further down the road in restores shipping containers known as The Annex. They are all one of a kind and unique stores.

Here you can find some of my favorite shops such as Why I Love Where I Live and Bloom Maven. Again, this shopping area is filled with one of a kind shops that are unique to Tucson, Arizona and fun to explore! You can also grab some food at Kukai Fresh Japanese Kitchen or at Beaut Burger. Not in the mood for food? Grab a drink at the Westbound Tap & Bottle bar, hang out and enjoy the beautiful Tucson weather!

This is a great way to spend the afternoon especially if you are wanting to experience the city of Tucson. They have plenty of both free and prepaid parking available. Or you can take the tram that runs through downtown to get there as well!

Historic 4th Street

4th street is home to a lot of shopping, restaurants and bars. Historic Fourth Avenue is a very popular shopping spot for those who want to go downtown! They have one of a kind boutiques, Arizona specific stores and lots of food and beverage options. This is a good way to spend an afternoon around downtown Tucson, Arizona and experience the culture of the city.

For shopping, there are a variety of options available. From thrift shops to one of a kind boutiques to bookstores and record shops, Historic 4th Street has a lot of unique shopping options. You can thrift shop at Tucson’s Thrift Shop, a new book at Antigone Books, or vintage and new records at Hurricane Records. You can shop for unique clothes at the Sky and Sand boutique or home decor at Eastland Alley Design Co. No matter what you style is, this area is a great spot for unique shopping in Tucson!

Go grab some lunch, walk around and shop and then grab a drink at one of the local bars. This area is always full of life and people as it is one of the most popular spots for shopping in Tucson!

Park Place Mall

Park Place Mall is your typical shopping mall. It has all of the well known major stores and a food court with pretty decent food choices. This is a good shopping center if you are looking for something specific or for a specific store. There isn’t anything particularly special about it but it is good if you want to get out of the house and browse all the current trends!

Outlet Mall

This is perfect if you are looking for a deal on one of your favorite brands. It is farther north of Tucson but home to many well-known brands. Some of the shops include Nike, Under Armor, Ralph Lauren, Saks Off Fifth, Kate Spade, GAP, and so much more!

This outdoor mall is perfect for a laid back afternoon of shopping for the best bargain! They have a food court and a nice courtyard in the center of the shopping center that is great for a snack and for the kids to run around if you take them with you!
