If you like a strong cocktail with gin, then a Gimlet might be the perfect cocktail for you! A great cocktail that isn’t too dry or too sweet. A gimlet cocktail is perfect for a warm summer evening or a crisp spring day. This is my gimlet recipe!
Similar to a classic daiquiri, a gimlet is sweet and strong! The main difference between the two cocktails is the liquor that you use. A gimlet is drier due to the gin instead of the rum used in a daiquiri. The simple syrup helps sweeten the cocktail and cut the dryness of the gin. The lime juice adds a delicious flavor of refreshing fruit.
